RIBS!  PULLED PORK!  SMASHBURGERS!  FRIED CHICKEN!  If you just started to drool, get in your car and head to Edwards Road between Sunrise and Oleander at the old Fort Pierce Central High School property.  You'll see a big red food truck in front of a big beautiful tree. If your palms are starting to sweat and you're dizzy with excitement, it's because you're about to be High on the Hog. 

This is the place where pitmaster Scott Busick is is cooking up the most delicious ribs, brisket, burnt ends, pork, chicken and more.  Using a blend of wood and charcoal in his smoker, he cooks them LOW & SLOW.  The result is ridiculously tender meats and a great smoky flavor. Sauces and sides are all homemade. You might as well just order all of them because you're not gonna be able to decide whether you want the mac & cheese or the potato salad or the meaty baked beans or the fries. High on the Hog is food truck food at its best.  And don't forget the Smash Burger.  (Try it topped with pulled pork - OMG)

Menu is subject to change and fan faves like the Burnt Ends sell out fast.  Best to check their FB page to see what daily specials they're offering (their Cuban Sammy is popular) and to make sure they're there because, on occasion, they might be doing an event at a different location.  Open at 11:30am 'til about 5pm Wednesday - Sunday but try to get there by late afternoon because once the food is sold out, they roll off into the sunset 'til the next day.   Scott and son Elijah look forward to getting Kind Diners High... on the Hog!   (KDS Membership is valid for catering too!)
